JHF - LONGEVITY HUB ANIMATION “CONNECTED”
Animation Proposal - April 1, 2026
___________
Connected is a short animated film that introduces the Pittsburgh Longevity Hub through the lived experiences of three individuals navigating aging, caregiving, and purpose. Rather than explaining the model from a top-down perspective, the film reveals it organically as we follow three characters through moments of friction, discovery, and renewed connection as the Hub aligns healthcare, technology, and community support around their needs.
Using a warm, illustrated style and a human-centered narrative that unfolds from the POV of these three archetypes, the piece makes a complex, future-facing system feel immediate, human, and achievable.
PROJET GOAL
This concept is designed specifically for an audience that is accustomed to complexity, but constrained by time. Rather than asking stakeholders and partners to absorb a new model through explanation alone, the film translates the Pittsburgh Longevity Hub into something immediately graspable: a lived experience.
Equally important, this approach positions the Longevity Hub as a credible, scalable solution. Clear visuals depicting both high-touch and high-tech elements will feel both innovative and human.
CONCEPT
Three lives, one day in Pittsburgh.
Ruth misses a follow-up appointment because the instructions were confusing. James sits in his car outside a gym, unsure if he belongs there. Lena steps out of a meeting to take a call. Her father fell again, and she’s not sure who to call next.
As the animation unfolds, we see how these real problems are met with something different: a single, connected place where care, guidance, and community come together. Ruth gets clear guidance, James finds the right entry point, and Lena knows exactly who to call and what happens next. The Pittsburgh Longevity Hub steps in as a practical, proven solution.
